0 Overview - Fund-raising
Fund-raising

This initiative was originally part of the Financial Solvency initiative. However, fund-raising has been identified as a priority within this initiative and has thus been established as an individual priority area.

All ISKCON centers have some sort of fundraising activity going on at present. The objective of this initiative is to enhance this activity wherever possible and generate more funds for ISKCON on a long-term, sustainable basis.

Submitted by dayavira on Fri, 04/16/2010 - 21:38 Fund-raising

Guidelines for making a souvenir:

· Frequency

· Articles

· Designing & Printing

A. Frequency

First thing which needs to be determined before making a souvenir is, when do you want to publish it? and how often you want to publish it? We will recommend a annual souvenir, published on one of your major festivals like Sri Krishna Janmastami, Govardhan Puja Annakoot/Diwali, Rath Yatra, Gaura Purnima, or one of your big fund-raising event.

B. Articles

Objective
Develop congregations and increase revenue to the temple. Birth day program is a very unique program in achieving the above goals. It helps you bond others with temple. It prepares a nice donor base and brings money to temple.

How it works
One famous American author Dale Carnegie writes, you want win friends or influence someone, you should make connection first. How to make connection with a stranger? Remember his name and of course his BIRTHDAY and wish him on his birthday.
